National Azabu Hiroo re-opened

Haven’t been to the new store (exactly where the old one used to be) and have become a huge fan of Nissin Supermarket in Azabu Juban  while they’ve been rebuilding National Azabu, but still quite exciting that my previous favourite international supermarket is back. Almost certainly worth a trip, especially as Hiroo is an interesting place with a good park and library.

Den-en-chofu, where the other store is, is a nice green area that is well worth a stroll, but when I briefly visited the shop a few years ago there didn’t seem to be that much international food in it.

Just been for the first time since it reopened and quite disappointing. Among the usual British marmalade and shortbread, only found these:
    HP sauce – 682 yen
    Sarsons Malt Vinegar – 504
    Lyles Golden Syrup – 493
